Kent Hovind Guilty of Contempt No Verdict on Fraud

    1. Don't know yet. That is up to the prosecution. My bet would be no.

    2. Maybe the prosecution could offer to go easy on Hovind and Hansen on the contempt sentencing recommendations if they plead to the conspiracy and fraud charges.

      While the prosecution still may not re-try the hung charges, they could make up for it, possibly, by seeking longer sentences on the contempt charges.

      I'm just speculating a bit.

  2. From what we saw, This is probably the best call, I think the contempt was proven. Reasonable doubt on conspiracy and mail fraud seemed a possibility as we listen to closing arguments.
